General Manager (w/m/d)

Your responsibilities
  • You provide strategic leadership expertise that ensures the effective and efficient operation of the hotel, including the achievement of stated operational goals and profitability objectives
  • You are responsible for the short and long-term profitability of the hotel. You review and authorize budgets to ensure that results are achieved in both revenue and expense
  • You ensure the implementation of brand initiatives with the objective of meeting and exceeding guest expectations in order to increase guest loyalty as well as profit and market share
  • You work closely with the Sales & Marketing as well as the Revenue Management department to maximize room revenue
  • You are responsible for the development and monitoring of annual business and marketing plans, and you are participating in appropriate local marketing efforts
  • You develop innovative sales and customer concepts and are responsible for new customer acquisitions, as well as market, and competitor observations
  • The planning and execution of promotional measures for the highly specialized hotel type is one of your tasks
  • You create new guest experience based on the topic of this hotel
  • You ensure positive, personalized guest experiences and utilize guest/customer feedback to improve service delivery. You communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the hotel and you deliver positive QPI (Quality Penetration Index) results. Furthermore you support our international customers and guests
  • You are responsible for the leadership, coordination, as well as continuous training and further education of the employees
Your requirements
  • Lifestyle is part of your personality!
  • You bring at least 5 years of the hotel operations leadership experience with a capability for strategic decision making
  • You have great knowledge of all departments of the hotel
  • You have the ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently
  • You have the ability to identify and develop accounts and to act independently with minimal supervision
  • You feel confident in the following areas: accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP/TMS. Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
  • You speak, write and read German and English fluently
Your skills
  • You have excellent interpersonal and sales-related as well as organizational and supervisory skills
  • You bring previous experience working within a theme & design hotel
  • You have an excellent customer and service orientation
  • You bring great communicative competences
